Mark Rigler, M.D.
Dr. Mark Rigler received his medical degree from the University of California at Davis, after completing his undergraduate work at the University of California at Santa Cruz and Reed College. He completed his Anesthesia Residency and a research fellowship in Regional Anesthesia at the University of California at San Francisco. He remained on staff at UCSF as an Assistant Professor for a year before joining AMGSC in 1993.
Dr. Rigler is board-certified in Anesthesia and renewed his certification in 2009, as well as Internal Medicine and Transesophageal Echocardiography. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, California Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Society for Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. He has enjoyed volunteering in medical missions overseas with Interplast and Rotaplast; this volunteer work has taken him to Thailand, Guatemala, Argentina, Vietnam, and Burma.
Dr. Rigler’s interests outside work include music, outdoor sports, travel, and spending time with his family.
